I serve in the office of Supervisor Noelia Corzo, who represents District 2. District 2 encompasses San Mateo, Foster City, and northern Belmont, and our office is focused on tackling the deep and historically entrenched inequalities and challenges that San Mateo County residents face despite living in one of the wealthiest places on earth.

I oversee a wide array of policy initiatives, focusing on projects in the areas of housing, land use, transportation, and environmental justice. I draft legislation, analyze policy, prepare communications, represent the Supervisor in meetings and at community events, and manage our office's large Measure K community grant program. Beyond the Board of Supervisors itself, I analyze policy for and staff many different regional committee assignments including the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG), Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), San Mateo County Transportation Authority (SMCTA), Housing Endowment and Regional Trust of San Mateo County (HEART), California State Association of Counties (CSAC) and Urban Counties of California (UCC) Board of Directors.

• Collaborate with local advocates to hold East Bay cities accountable to state housing law by analyzing policy documents and drafting letters to municipalities and state agencies

• Elected to Board of Stewards to provide governance oversight to ensure the sustainability of the all-volunteer organization

• Draft, analyze, and advocate for progressive legislation across issue areas, with a focus on complete streets, public transit, de-policing traffic enforcement, housing production, and tenant protections

• Conduct planning analysis and organize press and stakeholder communications campaign for historic Southside Rezoning effort to add 2,650 new units of transit-oriented housing near campus

• Coordinate digital communications and advocacy campaigns to engage with a diverse and historically underrepresented student population and represent the Councilmember in meetings with institutional and community stakeholders

• Launched a visionary transportation advocacy organization by recruiting and training student organizers to build coalitions, design digital content, and coordinate events

• Organized a high-turnout rally and occupation of Telegraph Avenue that galvanized student support for car-free Telegraph and transportation justice in Berkeley

• Revolutionized local transportation organizing by building an inclusive space for students to learn and apply lifelong organizing skills, creating a surge in student representation in public meetings
